1. One person is in custody after a woman was found dead inside a Logan Square apartment, NBC reports. Brittany Battaglia, 33, had been missing since June 2. (NBC)

2. Sex abuse survivors are calling on Cardinal Blase Cupich for more transparency about predatory priests in the Archdiocese of Chicago, ABC reports. Protesters gathered Tuesday after an attorney general report identified decades of abuse across Illinois parishes. "Cupich splits hairs, and ducks and dodges, and is trying to minimize the extent of the problem," said David Clohessy of the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests. (ABC)

3. Bears officials could resume talks with city leaders about keeping the team from moving out of Chicago, according to WTTW. The team is reportedly also in talks with leaders from Arlington Heights, Naperville and Rockford. (Patch)

4. Vienna Beef announced plans to reopen its former factory in Bucktown next year, Block Club reports. The new space will include a "restaurant, retailers, an outdoor gathering space" and more. (Block Club)
