Woman, 40, Discovered Dead In Chicago Office Building: CPD

The woman was found by a cleaning crew in an office in the Pricewaterhouse Cooper building and was pronounced dead at the scene.

CHICAGO — Chicago police are investigating the death of a woman who was found dead inside a downtown office building early on Monday night when a cleaning crew discovered the woman’s body.

Police said that the 40-year-old woman was found unresponsive just before 11 p.m. on Monday on the sixth floor of the Pricewaterhouse Cooper building on North Wacker Drive. Police have not identified the woman and it is unknown whether she is an employee of the company that runs the downtown office.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and detectives are continuing to investigate the discovery of the woman on Tuesday, police said. Police did not provide any further information about the incident.
