Woman Recovering After 40-Foot Fall At Soldier Field: Reports
The woman, who was attending a U.S. vs. Mexico game, is in stable condition.

CHICAGO, IL — A woman is recovering after falling about 40 feet from an upper level at Soldier Field, according to reports. The 23-year-old fell during the men's CONCACAF Gold Cup final soccer game Sunday night.
The woman was attending the U.S. vs. Mexico match, which was the final of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) tournament.
ABC7 reports police as saying the woman was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where she was stabilized. The fall happened around 9:30 p.m., the report says.

A Chicago Tribune report quotes police spokeswoman Ana Pacheco as saying “She doesn’t have any major injuries ... she was very lucky.”
The AP reports Mexico won the game by a score of 1-0, with Mexican Jonathan Dos Santos having scored a goal in the 73rd minute.
