Woman Stabbed CTA Worker After He Sprayed Water On Her: Police
Police said a CTA worker was cleaning the platform at the State/Lake station when he accidentally sprayed the woman, who then stabbed him.

CHICAGO — A woman stabbed a CTA worker in the neck after the man accidentally sprayed water on her, Chicago police said Wednesday.
Police responded to the State/Lake "L" station in the Loop Wednesday night at around 10:45 p.m. after officials said a CTA worker was washing down the platform and got water on the woman standing nearby. Police said the woman became so angry that she went up to the employee and stabbed him in the neck with a knife.
The worker, 49, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he is listed in fair condition.

The woman is in custody, charges had not yet been filed Thursday.
