$1.05 Million Winning Lotto Ticket Sold In Chicago Heights

The winner of the June 19 evening drawing bought their ticket at Dino's Food & Liquor on Ashland.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — The winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the June 19 evening drawing of the Illinois Lottery was purchased at a liquor store in Chicago Heights, lottery officials said. The ticket, which matched all five numbers, was sold at Dino's Food & Liquor, 443 Ashland Ave.

The five numbers on the winning ticket were 05, 15, 16, 32 and 33. The ticket is worth $1,050,000. Whoever has it should sign the back of the ticket, keep it in a safe place, and call 1-800-252-1775 to claim their prize.

Winners have one year from the day of the drawing to claim the money.

Phillip and Livia Faso, the owners of Dino's, will receive a $10,500 bonus, as all retailers who sell winning Illinois Lottery tickets are given 1 percent of the prize amount. Lottery officials said the Fasos were "very excited" when they found out the winning ticket was sold at the store they've owned for nearly 11 years.

"We have wonderful customers, and we do anything we can to improve their experience at our store," Phillip said.

The Fasos are planning to use their bonus to make improvements to their store that will ultimately benefit their customers.
