$15,000 in Rail Anchors Stolen from Heights Business: Blotter
In total, the thief took four pallets of anchors.
Four thousand rail anchors were stolen from Chicago Heights business Atlantic Track, according to reports.
Police say the person or persons took a total of four pallets, each containing 40 bags filled with 100 rail anchors each, from the 2665 State St. business sometime in the second week of October.
The total dollar value in stolen items is estimated to be around $15,000.
