2 Motorcyclists Killed In Glenwood Crash: Illinois State Police

The crash happened at IL-394 and Dyer Road just before 10 p.m., Illinois State Police said.

GLENWOOD, IL — Two motorcyclists were killed in a crash in Glenwood late Friday, Illinois State Police said.

State police were called just before 10 p.m. to IL-394 north of Dyer Road, for a report of a two-vehicle crash. A preliminary investigation revealed that both motorcycles were northbound on IL-394, when one rear-ended the other and caused them both to crash. The driver who was rear-ended—identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner as Sarah Gudeman, 24–was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other motorcyclist was taken to Franciscan Health Munster Emergency Room, where he was pronounced dead, according to the report. ABC-7 has identified him as Justin Fasnacht, 22, of Crown Point, Indiana.

The road was closed during the investigation, later reopening at 3 a.m. Saturday, state police said.

State police said the investigation is active, and no further information is available.
