Walking In The Middle Of The Street

Curtis Porter, 19, of the 1300 block of Mason Court in Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of marijuana, according to a report. Police spotted Porter at about 7:14 p.m. walking eastbound in the center of 10th Street. During a pat down, police uncovered a baggie containing a green leafy substance that later test positive for marijuana. He is due in Markham court April 5.

Pot Charge For Chicago Heights Man

Matthew S. Bullock, 26, of the 2400 block of Chicago Road in Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of cannabis and having a cracked windshield, according to a report. Police stopped Bullock at about 8:32 p.m. near 11th Place and 14th Street. During the stop, police could smell an odor of burnt marijuana. Bullock told police he had "some weed." During a search, police discovered a small amount of marijuana in a baggie.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13

Pry Marks On The Window

Someone pried open the kitchen window of a home in the 300 block of West 15th Street and took copper pipes from the basement, according to a report. The window screen had been removed sometime on March 12 or March 13.
