2 Steger Men, 22 And 24, Dead In Early Morning Crash: ISP
According to police, both men were found dead after their car veered into a ditch, flipping over and hitting a light pole Monday morning.

STEGER, IL — Two men from Steger were killed in a car crash early Monday morning on Illinois Route 394, state police told Patch.
According to investigators, a car driven by 22-year-old Robert Costello was traveling north near Goodenow Road shortly before 4 a.m. Monday when it veered off the road and into a ditch, hitting a light pole on the way.
Both Costello and the passenger, 24-year-old Hunter Conner, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the men were riding in a 2000 Ford Explorer, which ended upside down in the ditch. Officials did not immediately respond to Patch's questions on what caused the crash or why the car veered off the road.
Northbound lanes of Illinois 394 were closed north of Goodenow Road until 10 a.m. Monday.
