2-Year-Old Girl Fatally Shot Through Window In Harvey
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
HARVEY, IL — A 2-year-old girl identified as Majestee Hale was killed Thursday night in Harvey when a bullet came through a window of the family's home, police said. The shooting happened near 153rd Street and Lexington Avenue.
The pastor of a nearby church told WGN he was locking up when he heard two gunshots and then screaming around 7 p.m.
"I see the mom and the baby in a doorway in the room in a pool of blood," the Rev. Jonathan Johnson said.

Police said the little girl just turned 2 in October. Police said it was not a drive-by shooting, ABC 7 Chicago reported.

Police said there was no threat to the public, but no one was in custody.
