2nd District Candidates to Debate at Rich Central High School

Before the debate, students will get to network with the candidates.

Students interested in meeting some of the 2nd District election candidates will have an opportunity at the end of January.

A debate, with a preceding meet and greet, will be held at Rich Central High School on Jan. 30. It is geared at giving students interested in political science a chance to network with the candidates, according to a release from the Chicago Young & Powerful Group, who is sponsoring the event.

The Young & Powerful Group is a collective, focused on "educational reform, voter education, health and wellness promotion, and social entrepreneurship issues," according to the release.
