Baby Found in Field Listed in Good Condition: Report
Police are still searching for the newborn's mother.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — The newborn baby found in a Chicago Heights field Tuesday morning is in good condition, the Chicago Tribune has reported.
“Paramedics were called and took the infant to Franciscan Health hospital in Chicago Heights, where she was listed in good condition,” the Tribune said.
Police said they were still searching for the baby’s mother Wednesday afternoon.

Police were called just before 11 a.m. for a report of an infant found lying in a grassy field near 19460 Chicago Heights-Glenwood Road, ABC7 reported.
The baby was conscious when she was found.
