My name is Erika Hobbs and I'm the editor for the Chicago Heights Patch. I grew up in Steger, graduated from Bloom Trail High School, kissed a boy in St. Paul's parking lot (Lord, forgive me), bought strudel at Hi-Way and shopped a fundraising tag sale at Union Street Gallery when it first opened.
