Chicago Heights Man, 35, Accused Of Stabbing Woman: Police
According to McHenry County Sheriff's Office, Antonio Goldaracena was released from jail after posting bond.
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — A 35-year-old Chicago Heights man who is accused of stabbing a woman was released from McHenry County Jail last month, according to prosecutors.
Antonio J. Goldaracena is facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after sheriff's deputies said the man stabbed a woman in the leg with a knife, causing her to need major surgery to close the wound.
Goldaracena was also charged with possession of under 1 gram of cocaine. He was arrested Dec. 26 and released Dec. 30 after posting $5,000 of a $50,000 bond.

Authorities did not immediately respond to Patch's questions on when the 35-year-old is due back in court.
