Pay tribute to the military personnel who lost their lives serving the country at the Chicago Heights Memorial Day Ceremony May 27.
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Mayor David A. Gonzalez and the Chicago Heights City Council are hosting a ceremony and reception May 27 in tribute of veterans who lost their lives during service to the country.
The ceremony will take place at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Mound on the northwest corner of Lincoln Highway and Chicago Road.
In the case of inclement weather, the ceremony and reception will be held indoors at the Chicago Heights Recreation Center across the street at 1400 Chicago Road.
