The 56-year-old "candy man" faces two criminal charges.

One dedicated Chicago Heights grocery store employee's New Year's resolution may have been to never let a candy thief get away.
Frank Green, 56, of the 100 block of Sherry Lane, was arrested and charged with retail theft after a employee chased him out of the store all the way to the Bloom High School soccer field on Jan. 3.
The employee said Green stole Snickers candy bars from the store, according to the report.

When police arrived at the field the employee was still in pursuit. Green snatched his arm away from police while being apprehended, resulting in an additional charge of resisting, according to the report.
Police found a receipt for one of the three candy bars in Green's possession, but not the others, police said.Β
