Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing Coming To Walmart In Richton Park
Those who qualify for COVID-19 testing can get tested in the parking lot of the store on Central Avenue beginning Friday.
RICHTON PARK, IL — Drive-thru coronavirus testing will be available soon to those who qualify at the Walmart in Richton Park. The testing site in the parking lot at 22401 S. Central Ave. will begin Friday, June 12.
Testing will be available from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It's a self-administered nasal swab test, meaning those who are tested will be able to swab their own nose while remaining in their cars.
Anyone who meets CDC guidelines can be tested at the site that's supported by Walmart and eTrueNorth, according to a news release. First responders, health care providers, those with COVID-19 symptoms and others in high risk groups even without symptoms are among those eligible for testing.
