Dual Exhibits On Their Way Out at Union Street Gallery

It's not too late to catch them, though. Find out what's worth checking out Thursday in and around H-F and Chicago Heights.

Catch, Fluidity, Disparate Images, now before they're gone

Union Street Gallery is wrapping up two exceptional August exhibits, "Fluidity" and "Disparate Images" on Sept. 7.

  • "Fluidity" is a regionally juried exhibit that features the work of 28 talented Midwest artists. It's said to be "calm, peaceful, subdued, and fluid," according to the City of Chicago Heights website.
  • "Disparate Images" is a gallery created around the work of artist Javier Chavira, an artist "who has no misgivings about creating images that straddle the line between realism and abstraction."

Both exhibits end Saturday.
