The Bloom Township High School District 206 band department is sponsoring a chili cook-off fund-raiser.
The event, which is open to the community, will be held 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Bloom, 101 West 10th Street in Chicago Heights. A $5 ticket will allow unlimited tastings of chili. Proceeds from the cook-off will benefit the band program.
