Carmela "Melina" Frattura, 82, of South Chicago Heights died April 12. Her funeral will be held at St. Liborious on May 4.
CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Carmela "Melina" Frattura nee Malaspina, 82, of South Chicago Heights and formerly of Reggio Calabria Italy, at rest April 12, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Dominic Frattura Jr. Loving mother of Dominic, Francis, and Joseph Frattura, and Maria (John) Boekeloo. Cherished Nonna of Kristine (Jose) Frattura-Perez, Dominic, Vincent Frattura, Victoria, Jack and Matthew Boekeloo and great grandma of Joey Frattura. Dearest sister of Giuseppe (Nuccia) Malaspina, Giovanna (Angelo) LaFronte, Giuseppa (Carmelo) DeLorenzo, Gesualdo Malaspina and sister-in-law Mariann Saviano. Fond aunt and friend to many.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Liborius on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM located at 71 W 35th St, Steger, IL 60475.
Inurnment will be held in Reggio Calabria.
