CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — Hiking in the Heights? Who knew? "Hike the Preserves" does just that.
This month, the park district will be hiking at the Sauk Trail Woods. This is a 3.4 mile paved trail around Sauk Lake.
The event will give participants a chance to learn about the forest preserves, get some exercise, and meet new people. This event is free and open to all hiking levels.
