Intoxicated Man Falls Down and Hits Head While Waiting on Ride From Wife: Cops

An intoxicated Beecher man fell down and hit his head while waiting on his wife to come pick him up early Sunday, police said.

Police officers were sent to Casey’s General Store on Dixie Highway about 1 a.m. to attend to an intoxicated person, police said. They reportedly found the 39-year-old man and had him call his wife for a ride home.

“The man called his wife and while leaning against his car, he fell and received an injury to his head,” police said. “Beecher fire paramedics checked the man’s injuries and he was later taken home by his wife.”
