Man Charged With Murder, Killed 2 In Ford Heights Shooting: Police
He was arrested on New Year's Day and charged with murder in connection with the killing of two people in Ford Heights, police said.

FORD HEIGHTS, IL — A Chicago man was arrested on New Year’s Day and charged with murder in connection with the killing of two people in Ford Heights in 2025, according to police.
Detrion Anderson, 31, was ordered detained Friday after 30-year-old Michael Agee and 31-year-old Raqwan Dixon were killed over the summer, the Cook County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Law enforcement responded around 3:15 a.m. July 5 to the 1400 block of Regent Lane for a reported shooting with multiple victims, and found Agee and Dixon shot, according to police, who said both later died at a hospital in Indiana. A third victim, a 31-year-old man, declined treatment at the scene but went to the hospital for care, police said.

An investigation led detectives to identify Anderson as the gunman and issue a warrant for his arrest in November, according to police.
