Is a Church Accepting Gay Clergy a Sign of Societal Progress? Let's Talk

Two years ago Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Chicago Heights officially began accepting gay clergy. What do developments like that mean for the future of modern religion?

Earlier this week, we published a story that re-introduced a growing conversation topic in America: churches accepting homosexuality.Β 

This subject has been brought up by religious authorities, activists, entertainers and even politicians in recent years, mainly because some believe it is contradictory for a Christian church to accept gay members while others believe it is discriminatory not to accept all.
