Man Carjacked at Gunpoint on Schilling Avenue
The victim said two men pulled up in a van and pointed a large black handgun at him.

A 26-year-old Country Club Hills man ended up lying in the street without his car after an encounter with two unknown men in Chicago Heights on Oct. 28.
The man told police he and a woman were sitting in the man's parked Chevy Caprice on Schilling Avenue at almost 2 a.m. when a large white Dodge Grand Caravan pulled up next to them.
The driver of the Caravan and a passenger both got out of the van. The passenger pointed a "large black handgun" at the man and said "Get the (profanity) out of the car, give me all your money," according to the report.

The man told police he gave the gun-wielding carjacker $700 and dropped face-down onto Schilling Avenue.
One of the men took the victim's cell phone, and both men got into the victim's car and drove southbound on Schilling Avenue, leaving the abandoned Dodge Caravan in the middle of the street with the engine running as police arrived, according to the report.
