Man Shot to Death on Halsted and East 12th Street
The shooting took place Saturday evening.
A 20-year-old Chicago Heights man was shot to death Saturday night on South Halsted Street and East 12th Street, reports the Chicago Sun-Times. He was shot in the torso and pronounced dead at the scene at about 7:30 p.m. The dead man was identified as Karriem Humphrey. Humphrey attended Northern Illinois University, according to his Facebook page, and performed rap music.
