Marching Spider-man Helps Spartans Promote Oktoberfest

Marian Catholic is getting in the Halloween mood as October approaches.

I received a fun press release from , promoting their upcoming 30th Annual Oktoberfest.

During homecoming week, five members of the Marching Spartans took a moment to pose for an awesome photo.

Spider-man is Brandon Johnson of Dolton; dressed as a Thunderbird from Grease is Mark BrabecΒ  of Homewood; Chris Trlak of Park Forest is a video gamer; Emily Dejanovich of Hegewisch is dressed as Harry Potter; and Aaron Hudson of South Holland is a spot-on Bill Cosby.

Marian Catholic Director of External Communications Gail Young described the upcoming event:

The 250-plus member Marching Spartans and the Marian Catholic Band Parents Association will host Oktober on Sunday, October 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hundreds of crafters will fill the halls of the Chicago Heights campus. Authentic German food will be served in the Leadership Center, along with a huge bake sale. Admission is $1. Senior citizens, children under 12, and acres of parking are all free.
