Music Fests, Microchipping and Movie Madness: Weekend Planner

• Everyone is invited to join the and Ward One for the 18th Annual Chicago Heights Community Music Festival, formerly known as Gospel Fest. This event has become one of the largest Chicago Heights Park District events highlighting local extraordinary singers, choirs, groups and soloists.

• Date: Saturday, July 28
• Time: Noon - 5 p.m.
• This is event includes microchipping for $20 and free pet photographs.

• Where: , 340 Main St, Park Forest
• Date: Saturday, July 28
• Time: 11:30 p.m.
• Tickets are $8 and survival packs are $1. Survival Packs include rice, toilet paper, playing cards, toast, and other oddities to enhance your show.

• Where: 333 Dixie Hwy, Chicago Heights
• Date: Saturday, July 28 
• Time: 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.
• An open air farmers market featuring growers, artisans, crafters, farmers, bakers, distributors, re-purposed goods, fundraising events and lemon shake-ups and hot dogs.  Vendor fee is $10 for a 10x10 space.
