Nearly $3,000 in Gaming Equipment Disappears From Public Storage

The victim said she lost five game consoles, a guitar and two TVs.

A 43-year-old South Chicago Heights woman got quite a surprise when she opened her storage shed Oct. 23.

Nearly $3,000 worth of items were missing from her shed at , 1505 Western Ave.

The items taken include:

  • Two 32-inch flat-screen TVs
  • A Playstation 3 console
  • A Playstation 2 console
  • An Xbox 360 console
  • An Xbox Kinect
  • A Playstation guitar
  • A Gamecube console
  • A Nintendo DS

The woman told police she gave Rent-a-Center in Chicago Heights permission to enter her unit to remove other items.

A Rent-a-Center employee told police they only took the items the woman permitted them to, not any of the items listed above.
