Park District Cuts Buzz and Woody Ticket Prices

Surpluses are a good thing, especially for parents and kids in Olympia Fields.

What do you do when a show date approaches and you have plenty of tickets left? Olympia Fields Park District has the answer.

Anyone interested in seeing Disney on Ice's this weekend will be happy to know the park district has reduced the price of tickets, which includes transportation from Sgt. Means Park, by $12.

"I’ve reduced the tickets from $40 to $28 and it includes transportation and excellent seats," said Becky Brewer, the recreation director for the park district. "The Olympia Fields Park District wants to treat your family."

Brewer is offering the tickets for the new price until 5 p.m. on Thursday for those who are interested.

"I’m trying to keep from being stuck with them," Brewer said, laughing.

Participants will depart Sgt. Means Park at 5:45 p.m. Saturday Feb. 12, for the 7 p.m. show. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
