Nursing Home Family Feud
A 50-year-old Crete woman told police she was visiting her mother at at Prairie Manor at 345 Dixie Highway when she saw a Park Forest man, who she said was not supposed to be visiting her mother. The woman told the man to leave, but he refused, became angry and pushed her, telling police he was there to visit his mother for the holiday. The popular mother told police the man was not her son and that she wanted him to leave, so he did, according to the report.
A Text Message Threat for Christmas
Ernesto Gonzalez, 42, of the first block of West 15th Street, was arrested and charged wth domestic assault after a Chicago Heights woman told police he called her phone and sent text messages stating, "I'm gonna kill you and your kids," according to the report. The woman already had an order of protection against Gonzalez stating that no contact was allowed with the woman, according to the report. Police found Gonzalez highly intoxicated at his home and took him into custody, police said.

Elderly Woman Burglarized
An 85-year-old Chicago Heights woman's North Raye Drive home was burglarized after someone apparently broke a hole in the back door, entered and removed six watches, jewelry boxes and other jewelry, according to the report. The items were valued at around $2,000, police said. But police did find the jewelry box and some of the items in some bushes behind the woman's garage, according to the report.
Social Network Hacker
A 26-year-old Chicago Heights woman told police her ex-boyfriend informed her on Dec. 24 he was going to change the "passcodes on her computer." The next daym the woman noticed her passwords on Facebook, Yahoo and Hotmail were all changed, according to the report.

Hole Punches and Choking
A 21-year-old Chicago Heights woman told police her boyfriend, 25, was upset with her because she arrived home late and he began throwing things around the house. The woman said he punched a hole in a wall and punched a TV, damaging the screen, according to the report. He then choked her and punched her on the left side of her face, according to the report. The boyfriend fled, and police did not see any marks on the woman's face or neck, police said.
