’Pissed Off’ Parents Go After School Board with Lawsuit

The parents of Lincoln-Way North — an 8-year-old south suburban high school scheduled to close next year — speak bluntly. They are suing their Board of Education to block the closing, accusing them of ignoring their responsibilities, ignoring other solutions to the money problems, and ignoring the parents, as well. The parents filed Freedom of Information Act requests, which the school administration tried to dodge by playing document-name games.
