ReStore Garage Sale, St. Paul's Pumpkin Patch: Weekend Best Bets

Chicago Heights

In celebration of World Habitat Day 2011,  will be holding a big garage sale at 180 Joe Orr Road in Chicago Heights. The event will bring out vendors from the community and will include a Safari Jumper, face painting and several other activities for kids.

on Highland Drive is selling pumpkins of all sizes, gourds, corn stalks and refreshments on Saturday Oct. 8 and Sunday Oct. 9 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The church will also be holding a bake sale, so bring empty stomachs.

Olympia Fields

Your kids can search for pumpkins the woods, play games and even get snacks at the Woodland Pumpkin Hunt next Saturday and Monday. Don't forget to register before TODAY if you're going! ($12 resident and $18 non-resident fees apply).

Homewood

Splattimis P. (once known as SLuMP), returns to after playing several outdoor events, including , and (to name a few). Come have some incredible pizza pie and hear some great music! They will be joined by up and coming, artists, Sacrificial Slurpee and Original Knockoffs. There is NO Cover Charge for this event.
