Sauk Village Police Arrest Man Accused Of Damaging School Bus: ISP
According to officials, the man is facing charges of criminal damage to property and aggravated assault.

SAUK VILLAGE, IL — A 52-year-old Crete man is charged with aggravated assault after police said he damaged a school bus that was occupied by two drivers at the time.
Sauk Village police arrested Shawn R. Whirl on April 1 after matching his car and description to that wanted in connection to a March 18 incident.
On that day, Illinois State Police said Chicago troopers responded to an area near Interstate 57 and 127th Street and found a damaged school bus. No students were inside the bus at the time. Whirl is facing charges of aggravated assault and criminal damage to property.

While both are misdemeanors, officials said Whirl is in custody on other criminal charges.
