Teen Boy, Woman Found Shot To Death In Matteson Apartment: PD
A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old woman were found with gunshot wounds to the head and died later at a local hospital, police said.
MATTESON, IL — Two people, including a 17-year-old boy, were found shot to death in a Matteson apartment on Thursday night, according to police.
A 20-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were found dead in the apartment in the 4100 block of Lindenwood Avenue just after 10:30 p.m., according to police. The woman was found with a gunshot wound to the head while the boy was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest and head, police announced.
Police said that their initial investigation determined that the two victims are not Matteson residents but police have not released any further information. Police said that they attempted life-saving measures before the two victims were taken to a local hospital, but that the victims both died at a later time.

The identities of the victims have not been released by police not has any information been released about a possible suspect.
Police said that the incident remains under investigation by the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force, which is assisting the Matteson Police Department with the investigation.
