Tour For Life 2021: 50 Percent Off Animal Adoption Fees

Adopt a pet six months and older for 50 percent off adoption fees. The event runs through Sunday.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — The South Suburban Humane Society's collaborative event with North Shore Animal League America ends on Sunday, April 18. The Tour For Life 2021 — the world's largest national cooperative, life-saving pet adoption event – in partnership with Purina®, at the Chicago Heights location— 1103 West End Ave. — is offering 50 percent off adoption fees on all Animals six months and older.

Additionally, all approved adopters will receive giveaways provided by Purina, while supplies last, according to a news release from the Humane Society. South Suburban Humane Society’s Animal viewing & adoption hours are 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., seven days a week. They are currently limiting the number of families in the building to two at a time to enable social distancing, the release states.

The Humane Society states that this year, events have been reimagined to accommodate COVID-19 health and safety protocols.

"Tour For Life remains committed to its mission of generating awareness of the plight of homeless animals," the Humane Society said. "Tour For Life 2021 will run throughout March and April with weeklong events in 53 cities/towns in 37 states, spotlighting local shelter partners/rescue groups dedicated to finding homes for the animals in their care."
