Young Prostitute Who Stabbed Teacher Cries at Jury’s Verdict

Alisha Walker, 22, claimed Al Filan, 61, attacked first and that she wrestled away his knife and stabbed him in self defense. She stabbed him 14 times two years ago, and left him to bleed out on his kitchen floor. A popular Catholic high-school teacher, no one knew Filan enjoyed buying sex from women almost as young as his students. A few days after finding his bloody body, Orland Park police found her hiding in an Indiana motel. They found her bloody jeans and money she took from the teacher’s house. When they told the woman her trick had died, she sobbed, much as she wept when a jury found her guilty of murder.
