Will County Asks For Help Assessing Damage From June Storms

The Will County Emergency Management Agency is asking communities hit hard by rain at the end of June for help assessing the damage.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — The Will County Emergency Management Agency is asking south suburban communities hit hard by rain at the end of June for help assessing damage.

Heavy rain at the end of June caused flooding in the Steger, Crete, and Park Forest areas. No federal assistance is available for those impacted by the storm. However, the agency is looking to collect information to determine whether assistance may become available in the future.

The agency developed a short survey to capture information about the impact of the flooding. Photos are welcome.
