XPO Logistics To Host Hiring Event In Chicago Heights
The company is looking for technicians, shop managers, truck drivers and dockworkers for its new 264-door service center in Chicago Heights.

CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL — As the industrial economy rebounds and e-commerce continues to accelerate, the less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation industry (valued at ~$42 billion) is seeing tremendous growth across North America, according to a news release from XPO Logistics.
The company will be hosting a hiring event on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Chicago Heights at 1000 E Lincoln Hwy. The company is offering several hiring incentives, including up to $8,000 in bonuses and offers being made on the spot, according to the release.
"We're currently hiring 60+ for positions including technicians, shop managers, truck drivers and dockworkers for our new, state-of-the-art 264-door service center and shop in the Chicago Heights area," said Tara Mullins, Director of Public Relations. "The 141,000+ SF site is expected to begin operations in fall 2021 and is expected to help improve the flow of freight through the Chicagoland region and better serve our customers."

XPO Logistics is one of the largest LTL providers in North America, with 290 service centers and coast-to-coast digital visibility into more than 17 billion pounds of freight picked up and delivered by its 12,000+ team of drivers.
