CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We are one year into this pandemic, and we've seen how so many local community members have stepped up to help those in need during these tough times.

Last year, we launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we've worked to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Eva Hoffman who nominated her husband, Kevin Hoffman of Crystal Lake.
