Coroner IDs Woman, 65, Fatally Shot In McHenry County: Police

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — The McHenry County Coroner's Office has identified a woman killed in a shooting near Harvard Saturday afternoon.
The coroner's office has identified the woman as Santina Perri, 65, the Daily Herald is reporting.
Perri was found fatally shot in the 4500 block of Island Road in unincorporated Harvard at about 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Police were called to the area for a well-being check and found the woman with the gunshot wound. They also found a man with a gunshot wound, police said. The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The man were identified as household members, according to the news release.

An investigation into the shooting is ongoing by McHenry County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
