D155 Schools Get Upgrades Ahead Of 2023-24 School Year
The Cary-Grove auxiliary gymnasium roof is being replaced and renovations are underway to the nurses room at Crystal Lake Central.

CRYSTAL LAKE AND CARY, IL — High School District 155 students may be off on summer break but work has been steady within schools to prep for the upcoming 2023-24 school year.
A total of $6.6 million in capital improvement projects are underway at the district's high schools. Among the big ticket items being fixed this summer include: a roof replacement of the auxiliary gymnasium at Cary-Grove High School, renovations of the nurses room at Crystal Lake Central High School and renovation of the special education classrooms at Prairie Ridge High School, according to District 155 documents.
Other projects underway include renovation of the locker rooms at Cary-Grove High School, the addition of Haber Oaks break out rooms at Crystal Lake South High School, and the replacement of windows on the third floor of Prairie Ridge, according to D155 documents.
