Latest Snowfall Totals Released: Which Town Saw The Most Snow?
More than 17 inches of snow has fallen in total so far this season at O'Hare Airport in Chicago.

This winter's snowfall totals could go down in the record books.
So far this winter season, 17.1 inches of snow has fallen at O'Hare Airport, according to the National Weather Service. That is a speedy start to the snowfall season, weather officials said, and the highest amount of snow that has fallen so quickly since 1976 when 24.1 inches fell by Dec. 7.
Chicago has also nearly exceeded the 17.6 inches of total snow that fell throughout the entire 2024-25 snowfall season, according to the National Weather Service.

The first major snowfall happened over the Thanksgiving weekend when some areas of Lake County saw a foot of snow.

This past weekend, more snow fell, and the National Weather Service on Monday shared the snowfall totals from the Saturday storm. Here are the towns that saw some of the highest snowfall totals:
- Sleepy Hollow: 7.1 inches
- Lindenhurst: 7 inches
- Greenwood: 6.9 inches
- Elgin: 6.6 inches
- Streamwood: 6.5 inches
- Long Lake: 6.5 inches
- Campton Hills: 6.4 inches
- Hoffman Estates: 6.4 inches
- Bull Valley: 6.2 inches
- Mount Prospect: 6 inches
- Mundelein: 5.8 inches
- Crystal Lake: 5.6 inches
- Lake Zurich: 5.5 inches
- Cary: 5.5 inches
- St. Charles: 5 inches
- Barrington: 5 inches

Meanwhile, more snow could soon by on the way with a chance of snow in the forecast for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
