State Of The Lake Meeting In Crystal Lake Planned For May

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Crystal Lake Park District will host its state of the lake meeting on May 1, according to park district officials.
During the meeting, the park district's lake manager, Hey and Associates, Inc., will give an overview of the health of Crystal Lake, according to the park district. This information will include data from studies on water quality, invasive species, aquatic vegetation, inflows and outflows.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the rotary building at Veterans Acres Park, 431 N. Walkup Avenue, Crystal Lake.

"The meeting is typically held every other year. Hey and Associates will give an overview of the health of Crystal Lake, including data from their studies on water quality, invasive species, aquatic vegetation, inflows and outflows," said Jason Herbster, executive director for the park district.
