Teenager Injured In 3-Car Crash That Left 1 Car Rolled Over Near Cary-Grove High School In Cary

A teenager was transported to the hospital following a three-vehicle crash that left one car rolled over near Cary-Grove High School in Cary Monday afternoon.
The Cary Fire Protection District and Cary Police Department responded around 3:01 p.m. Monday to the intersection of North First Street and East Margaret Terrace. Cary Fire Protection District Communication Specialist Alex Vucha said the initial call indicated a rollover crash with entrapment.

Officers arrived on the scene and reported one victim was trapped in a vehicle.
Firefighters arrived on the scene within four minutes to find a three-vehicle crash at the intersection with one vehicle rolled onto its side. The incident occurred in a neighborhood just two blocks south of Cary-Grove High School.

All occupants had self-extricated themselves from the vehicles prior to the arrival of the fire department, Vucha said.
Paramedics began assessing all the parties involved for any potential injuries.
A total of four individuals were evaluated by paramedics, Vucha said. Three of them declined any medical attention on the scene.
A teenage male was transported by ambulance to Advocate Good Shepard Hospital in Barrington with minor injuries.
The Cary Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash.
