Weigh In On City Plan For Crystal Lake, Pingree Road Stations

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Residents of Crystal Lake have an opportunity to weigh in on city plans to improve the areas around the Crystal Lake and Pingree Road Metra stations.

The city is working on opportunities for development and better access to transportation around these two stations, with the hopes of attracting customers and investors into Crystal Lake. The plan will focus on areas within a quarter-mile radius from the Crystal Lake Metra Station and within a half-mile radius from the Pingree Road Metro Station.

The city of Crystal Lake will have a community open house on August 12 from 4-7 p.m. in the City Council chambers.

There is also a virtual event August 12 from 10-11 a.m. on Zoom.
