Battle of the Bands Rocks Hinsdale South

Hinsdale South’s cafeteria rocked the night away Thursday as four bands competed for five hours of recording time at Gremlen Studios in Aurora.

Five-man outfit Experience walked away with the prize after a 30-minute set of sunny, soulful pop music. The teens looked the part too, dressed to the nines in suits and pressed shirts.

Metal band Renegade placed second and won a microphone and stand from Sam Ash Music Stores. 

The other two participating bands were Hundreds of People and GC Guitar. Bands from both and competed in the contest.
