“The goal of the Community Speaker Series is to educate and engage all of the adults in our community as we support our students and each other as our children journey into adulthood,” said Superintendent Dr. Bruce Law. “Many of our events have focused on social and emotional well-being. I think it is also wise to teach our children sound financial health and judgment, something we often overlook. Giving them the skills they need to plan, spend and save wisely will help them more easily target and reach their goals. We, along with our partners, the District 181 Foundation, the Hinsdale Central PTO and The Community House, are pleased to end this series on this valuable practical note.”
After his presentation to the community on Thursday, Mr. Lieber will meet with a group of approximately 225 students representing both schools. Planning for the student meeting is still underway, more details will be announced as they become available. The meeting will offer this large group of business-focused students a unique opportunity to interact with the author and delve into the topics they are studying and practicing on a deeper level.
