Darien Drone Detects Damage: Police
It was discovered in a place that has seen its share of vandalism.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Vandalism
- About 10 p.m. May 21, an officer conducting a drone training flight over the Carriage Greens Country Club golf course discovered damage to the putting green. The country club has repeatedly reported damage to the course this spring.
- An exercise station was reported damaged Wednesday at Darien Community Park, 7100 Clarendon Hills Road. The damage was estimated at $1,000.

- Cristian Aguirre-Nabors, 31, of Chicago, was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Sunday on charges of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, aggravated DUI, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, use of unsafe tires, failure to yield to emergency vehicles and improper lane usage. Police said an officer saw the man's car stopped on Cass Avenue about 20 feet within the intersection of 79th Street. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
DUI
- A 44-year-old South Holland man was arrested about 9 p.m. Monday on charges of DUI, improper lane usage and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. An officer saw the man cross the line boundary a few times near Lemont Road and 75th Street, police said. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
