Darien House's Front Door Kicked In: Cops
In another case, a Darien man was accused of driving under the influence of drugs, police said.

DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Thursday. Here is information from the reports:
Kicked in
- Someone kicked in the front door of a house in the 7700 block of Brunswick Road, causing damage to the door frame. Officers were called about 9:30 p.m. Saturday. The damage was estimated at $500.

- A 24-year-old Darien man who lives in the 1500 block of Sequoia Lane was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday on charges of DUI (drugs), having a suspended registration, and illegally stopping, standing or parking where prohibited. Officers were called about a car near 75th and Adams streets in the left turn lane. The car was not moving, with its brakes on. The man, who was behind the wheel, was wanted on a DuPage County warrant charging failure to appear in court.
Criminal trespassing
- Police received an alert about a stolen car from La Salle County heading north on Lemont Road near Interstate 55. A 42-year-old Chicago man was arrested on charges of criminal trespass to a vehicle, driving an uninsured car and possessing marijuana. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
